I was asked to make a truck tire stuck in the mud spraying a tiered wedding cake with mud. There are cakes on the internet doing this and the bride gave me a picture of one that she liked. The wedding was about an hour away on roads that I knew would not be kind to a cake that was top heavy. The ideas that I got from my laptop were helpful but I was not not completely sold that anything I saw would guarantee a safe trip. My husband is a woodworker and a willing participant in creating cake structures for me.
